Congratulations to CAARE doctoral researcher Giulia Polazzo on an outstanding achievement!Â
From 29 June to 3 July 2026, Giulia participated in the Advanced Course on Downstream Processing at Delft University of Technology, organized by BioTech Delft. As part of the course, participants worked in teams on a challenging downstream process design case study, applying engineering principles to a real-world industrial scenario.
We are proud to share that Giulia and her teammate received the Best Design Award 2026 for their solution. 🏆
The award highlights Giulia’s ability to combine strong engineering fundamentals with practical problem-solving skills—an essential strength for the next generation of bioprocess engineers.
